The Whisker Whip rod is the latest addition to the Tangling with Catfish product line. The Whisker Whip is designed for the channel cat fisherman with the same quality you have come to expect from Tangling with Catfish products.

 The Whisker Whip is a medium action rod designed to detect the lightest bite and has the backbone to handle just about anything that can be thrown at it. The rod is 7’6” long and constructed out of a strong E-glass blank. The end of the rod has a rubber butt that will grab on so the rod will not slip while fighting a fish. The handle is made of class “A” style cork which is unlike most other rods that have class “C”. Class “A” is much stronger and will last much longer. The reel seat is another feature that sets this rod apart from the others. It is constructed from a heavy duty machined aluminum that is ribbed on the inside for a stronger bind. It also has two aluminum locking nuts with a rubber washer to ensure the tightness of the reel. The fore-grip is also constructed out of class “A” cork and is 6” long to provide plenty of hand room for leverage. Above the fore-grip is a stainless steel hook keeper that prevents wear and tear on the guides. The Whisker Whip features 8 guides along with the tip. The guides are stainless steel double footed guides that are solder reinforced. Each guide is wrapped with a thick red wrap and has a double epoxy coating for more durability.

 The Whisker Whip is a white rod that was designed for easier visibility at both day and night. It is constructed with all top of the line products and no short cuts were taken in the construction of this rod. By adding the Whisker Whip to the Tangling with Catfish product line we are able to deliver this high quality rod at an affordable price.
