I just wanted to let everyone know what I have done with this unit and the trust I have now built
with it. I put one of these units on my 24' Bigdaddy SeaArk last fall. I was able to hide the whole unit in one of my storage
boxes, so it's out of the way. I am running mine off a 1250 attwood pump but I beleive Steve says a 750 is plenty big enough. I
done a little non fish test to the unit to see how it worked by filling the tank up with water and adding mud to the water.
Within a matter of about 15 minutes the water was all cleared up. During my first test with it in a tournament I had
6 fish in a 60 gallon stock livewell that weighed 120.8lbs. The water was crystal clear when we were done. The only thing
I had to do was clean the screen filter once half way though the day. These fish were full of energy after being in the tank
for up to 8 hours.
This unit is built like a horse too. Just by looking at the thing you can tell it's not going to fall
apart. I can't say enough about the AKWA LUNG right now but it works super. This is the kind of products all of us Catfishermen
have been wanting for years. It's nice to finally see we are starting to get products built for us. If anyone has any questions
feel free to send me an e-mail or contact Steve Douglas at
