This rod is designed by myself (Jeremy Leach). I have spent the last 5 to 6 years trying to find that "perfect rod" for catfishing. There are many good rods out on the market today that will serve the purpose just fine. It just seemed to me there was always something about each rod I didn't like. This rod is designed to fit what I like in a Cat Rod that is why it's called the "Jeremy Leach Signature Rod". Hopefully others will find it to there liking as well. Every rod will be hand crafted by Randy Harris of Black and Blue Tackle. These rods are not mass produced, they are considered a custom built rod.

--Each rod has close to 12 inches of cork for the handle with 5 inches of foregrip. The cork I believe gives the rod a better feel and helps with those wet hands.

-- All the rods with have a Fuji grapghite reel seat, which is the top of the line seats when it comes to rods.

-- Every rod will come with a custom diamond wrap right above the foregrip to give the rod a good look. The wrap will be blue, black and gray.

-- Each rod will come standard with the Signature logo with a nice looking Blue Cat, so evryone knows what you're out there hunting for.

-- The rod will come standard with 9 stainless steel guides plus one stainless steel top. All guides are triple coated, unlike most standard rods that are single coated. This will insure that they will last a life time. Every guide will be underwrapped first which secures the guide to make sure there is no movement.

-- Now to the blank. The blank is an all E-Glass durable blank that goes all the way to the butt cap. The rod length in 7'6". The line rating on this rod is 25-50lbs. I am calling this blank a MH-H. It feels to me to be between a Medium heavy and a Heavy action rod. This blank is a little different then most blanks because it will bend all the way through the blank if needed.
